2009-07-27 canteen + post office = adventure!

couple of days back, i went to help out my uncle who is a canteen operator in a primary school. being there really made me miss my school days where the only thing i was always looking forward to was the 10am bell to ring for recess. good times.
everything set up by 9.40am

all those colourful drinks which my dad never allowed me to buy. i started experimenting with them in primary 2 and thought that i was such a rebel. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! *wipes tears*

good ole 'mee sup'. we used to distract the mak cik and then try to sneak some extra chicken shreds and noodles from the other bowls into our own.

these were the sources who always motivated us to come up with creative tricks to get more food without paying extra. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! how naive~

we used to envy those under the RMT (rancangan makanan tambahan)

notice how the chinese schools always had this glorious selection of food in their canteens? why was it all the sekolah kebangsaan served really crappy stuff like keropok and mee sup (at best).

those are luncheon meat ready to be fried! which means only one thing. chinese schools served pork! wtf?!! we never had those back in my primary school! i wished we had that kinda meals in convent.

this boy was the head prefect for the lower primary kids. the way he combed his hair was friggin classic! stop taking pictures of me. i need to eat and then be on duty already he said.

then he comes back to the queue and pretended as if he wanted to get extra chips. pfftt... i wouldve laughed in his face if it wasnt because of his hair.

this was the nicest girl that didnt make me wanna punch her face. she was looking at my dad in awe and asked "uncle, where did you learn to speak english with your daughter? were you a cook for the british soldiers?" it was a very aww-ish kinda wtf moment. =8D

i lost count of the amount of times i saw him coming back to the line that day

me: hey superman. him: im not superman. this is just a windbreaker. HAHAHAHAHA!!!

gangsta'

we're tight mate he said. hahahahahhaa!!! i think.

get your own bread! (he was trying to snatch his friends) but i didnt bring any money today.

kids these days. hes gonna do great things when hes all grown up. oh yeah.

they even have their maids to buy their food before their recess begins. wtf!

this kid brought a whole basket of food. i was waiting for him to pull out the red and white checkered cloth. he didnt. =(

this teacher was dressed in blue from head to toe. she scares me.

on the way to the post office to get registered as a voter. i rockzzz! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

and this was 20mins later. T___T and no i didnt get to register that day.
